It is time to dust off clubs and to start thinking about striking the little white ball again. The Lee County Area Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Development Authority will be hosting the Business and Industry Appreciation Golf Scramble on Saturday, May 2, 2009. We want to thank those of you who have participated in past years, and we look forward to welcoming a number of new players to this year’s event.

Play will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Registration will open at 7:30 and a light breakfast will be offered. Following play, lunch will be served. Prizes and awards will be given out at the luncheon.

The Scramble will consist of four-person teams, and is open to any non-professional who wishes to play. If you wish to join us, an entry form is available here. We certainly appreciate your prompt attention to this. We can accommodate 30 teams, and we hope that you get your forms back in quickly.
